How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your Doviru account
  • Let you join and participate in communities
  • Track daily check-ins and season progress
  • Show reflections, community updates, leaderboards, and member activity
  • Let community owners manage their communities
  • Sync your data across devices
  • Provide daily reminder notifications if you enable them
  • Improve reliability, safety, and product quality
  • Respond to support, privacy, or deletion requests

Community Content

Doviru is built around communities. Some activity may be visible to other members of the same community, including:

  • Your display name
  • Your check-in activity
  • Your reflections
  • Cheers on reflections
  • Your position on a community leaderboard

Community owners may see member lists and activity related to their community.

Some community information, such as name, description, member count, and public preview activity, may be visible to people who have not joined the community.

Data Storage

Doviru uses Supabase to store remote app data, including account-related data, communities, memberships, check-ins, reflections, cheers, and community updates.

Doviru may also store some data locally on your device, such as recent communities, check-ins, reflections, updates, profile preferences, reminder settings, and cached app state. Local caching helps the app open faster and continue showing recent data when the network is slow.

Local cached data may be cleared through app settings where available. Signing out may also clear cached community data from the device.

Notifications

If you enable Daily Reminder, Doviru may schedule local notifications on your device to remind you to check in.

Notification permission is controlled by your device settings. You can disable reminders inside Doviru or from iOS Settings.

Doviru does not currently use remote push notifications for social activity.

Third-Party Services

Doviru may use third-party services to operate the app, including:

  • Apple Sign in with Apple
  • Supabase for authentication, database, and backend services

These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or disclose information only when needed to:

  • Operate the app and backend services
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Protect users, communities, or the app from abuse, spam, fraud, or harm
  • Respond to support or data deletion requests

Community Safety

Users and community owners are expected to follow Doviru Community Guidelines.

Doviru may remove, restrict, archive, or review content or communities that are unsafe, abusive, spammy, misleading, illegal, or not aligned with Doviru’s purpose.

Data Retention

Doviru keeps data as long as needed to operate the app, provide community history, maintain season records, support safety, and comply with legal or operational needs.

Some local cached data may be automatically limited or cleaned up on your device.

If you request account or data deletion, we will process the request according to the deletion process below.

Account and Data Deletion

Account and data deletion requests are currently handled by support.

To request deletion, email:

support@quocraft.com

Please contact us from the email or account associated with your Doviru account when possible.

When we process a deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify eligible account data, which may include:

  • Your profile
  • Community memberships
  • Check-ins
  • Reflections
  • Cheers
  • Community updates you created

If you own a community, the community may be archived, deleted, or transferred depending on safety, technical, and platform needs.

Some information may be retained if required for legal, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or backup purposes.

Children’s Privacy

Doviru is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at support@quocraft.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we may update the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, notify users through the app or website.
